A clinic giving medical care to people in need is getting a big injection of cash.
Wednesday, the Roanoke Women's Foundation announced three-hundred thousand dollars worth of grants.
The money will go to five organizations including the Free Clinic of Franklin County and Benard Health Care Center.
Right now the center is in the process of building a new facility.
The free clinic will get fifty-thousand dollars.
The other four organizations getting grants from the foundation include: Children's Trust, Family Service of Roanoke Valley, Rebuilding Together Roanoke, and WVTF Public Radio.
