A teen's drive to raise toys this Christmas is picking up speed and gaining traction and miles.

All weekend long, the marque of Wrigley Field in Chicago has read: Cheer 4 Savannah.
That's the movement, Botetourt County teen Savannah Day started.

WDBJ7 told you about Savannah last month.

The middle schooler needs brain surgery and will be in the hospital over Christmas.

Instead of getting down about it, Savannah decided to collect 500-toys for kids that will be in the hospital for the holidays.

The cheerleader's friends and family are helping her in her quest.

Already about 75-toys have been donated.
