DANVILLE, Va. -

A charity that reaches out to people around the world is in need of help itself this week.

God's Pit Crew in Danville quickly ran out of supplies after sending more than 15 hundred Blessing Buckets to help the Philippines.

Those buckets are full of food, water, soap, deodorant, and other necessities to help people after a natural disaster.

When tornadoes wrecked parts of Illinois last week the group didn't have as much to send.

Now it's Thanksgiving week, when the group donates to local charities, and running out of supplies.

"We're just depleted on the Blessing Buckets. We need the supplies that we make those with or we need people who are willing to make them themselves for us," said Randy Johnson, founder of God's Pit Crew.

God's Pit Crew is sending another load of supplies to Illinois later this week.
