LEXINGTON, Va. -

A grand jury has indicted a former Washington and Lee student who police say crashed an SUV killing one person and seriously injuring three others.

Nicholas Hansel is charged with involuntary manslaughter and driving under the influence.

Police say Hansel was driving the SUV with 10 other Washington & Lee University students that crashed last December after leaving a fraternity party.

Kelsey Durkin was killed in the accident. She was 21.

Hansel's trial is scheduled for August 25.
