Group, which insures against disasters, helps WV chemical leak victims
Woodmen of the World took 794-cases of water to WV Monday
The group "Woodmen of the World" left Salem with three-truck loads of water headed to West Virginia Monday morning.
The 794-cases were headed to a town outside of Charleston.
The group which started 123-years ago was founded on the ideal of helping your neighbor.
"We're all in this thing together and everybody gets their chance to have to deal with disasters to be in need and those of us who are blessed beyond measure when it's time to step up and give back not only does woodman do it but people in this valley are champions at giving back and helping those who are going through unfortunate situations," explains state manager, Terry Carroll.
Chapters throughout the Commonwealth donated money to buy the water.
While Penske trucking donated the vehicles to haul the items to West Virginia.
