Happy's Flea Market in Roanoke threatened with condemnation
The owners have until January 6th to fix various problems
Roanoke City building inspectors say Happy's Flea Market is unsafe. They have given the owners until January 6th to fix various electrical and roofing problems.
The inspection notice is posted on the doors to the Williamson Road landmark. It says the owners could face fines or condemnation of the building if the issues aren't fixed by a licensed contractor.
The facility is still open in the meantime. Customers and employees were coming and going Friday afternoon. The general manager of the flea market says the owners are doing everything they can to meet the January 6th deadline.
