HENRY CO., Va. -

Two people were arrested for an armed robbery Monday morning in Henry County after crashing during a police chase.

The incident began around 3:05 a.m. Monday when a man with a bandana over his face walked into the FasMart on Virginia Avenue in Collinsville. The clerk told deputies that the man pulled out a gun and demanded money. The robber took off in a green Nissan Sentra with an undisclosed amount of cash, the clerk said.

A Henry County deputy spotted the suspect’s car. After a short chase, the Nissan Sentra crashed on Sunset Drive.

23-year-old Roger Dale Crihfield II and 21-year-old Roger Keith Conklin were arrested. Crihfield is charged with robbery, using a firearm in commission of a robbery, wearing a mask with the intent of concealing identity, and possession of burglary tools. Conklin is charged with robbery, eluding police, and possession of burglary tools.

Crihfield and Conklin are being held in the Henry County Jail without bond.
