ROANOKE, Va. -

If you're looking to step outside and smell the roses this weekend, there are people ready to have you.

This weekend concludes Historic Garden Week in Roanoke.

On top of two additional gardens, five houses will open up for home or garden tours.

It's become a big tradition for homes in south and southwest Roanoke.

“Everybody that comes on the tour year after year, they're just so appreciative of people opening their homes. And we're just happy to share ours because it's a beautiful home that we've enjoyed living in and we'd like to enjoy sharing it,” homeowner Jane Coulter said.

Organizer Forrest Moore added: They all have their own sense of style, so there's a little bit of everything for everybody.
