The fire is still under investigation, according to Glen Lyn fire chief Randy Jones.

The fire re-kindled Sunday. Firefighters let the fire burn until around 1 a.m. Monday.


Firefighters say that the fire actually began around 8:30 p.m. Saturday and has been burning all day.

The fire threatened a house next door, but firefighters have set up a containment line to keep that under control.

The house has been abandoned for at least year. The fire is still under investigation.


Crews are on the scene of a house fire in Glen Lyn right now.

The fire is on Railroad Avenue, and it's near the Appalachian Power plant on Route 460.
