==================

The driver of a tractor-trailer died early Monday morning, when his truck ran off the road and overturned in Roanoke County.  State Police say the driver was from another state. They are not releasing his identity until relatives are notified.

The off-ramp at Interstate 81 South to Route 419 in Salem was closed because of the accident.

The accident is at Exit 141. The Virginia Department of Transportation suggests that traffic exiting I-81 South in the Salem area to consider exiting at Exit 140 as an alternative.
