ROANOKE,Va. -

The Grammy win for the group Snarky Puppy is helping the Jefferson Center Foundation's Music Lab program.

The group won in the category of Best R&B Performance, beating out other big named acts. The actual performance was recorded at The Jefferson Center. The attention has generated more funds from higher album sales that help benefit the program, which allow program organizers to buy much needed equipment.

The student will be able to work and learn on the latest technology,” said artistic director, Dylan Locke.

Not only will the lab have new equipment, they're also welcoming a new sound engineer.
