ROANOKE, Va. -

Representatives and leaders from Jefferson College of Health Sciences, New River Community College, and Virginia Western Community College came together in Roanoke Tuesday to sign articulation agreements.

Students at New River Community College will have the opportunity to participate in the Healthcare Management and Respiratory Therapy Programs offered by Jefferson College of Health Sciences due to the agreement.

Virginia Western Community College students will be able to study within the respiratory therapy, health and exercise science and health psychology programs offered by Jefferson College of Health Sciences as a result of the agreement.

The partnership is “An effort to pave the way for the community colleges’ students to seamlessly enter programs at Jefferson College of Health Sciences, where they can continue their education to the bachelor’s level and beyond,” according to a news release.
