ROANOKE, Va. -

Two people are facing charges after a robbery in Roanoke on Tuesday.

Police say the 7-Eleven in the 2900 block of Williamson Road was robbed around 3:40 a.m.

A clerk told officers that a man came into the store and asked a question before leaving.

About a minute later, a second man came into the store with a gun and demanded money from the clerk.

The man got away on foot with money, cigarettes, lottery tickets, and alcohol.

A Botetourt County K-9 Unit helped to search for the suspects.

The two men were found in an abandoned house in the 2700 block on Edison Street where they were arrested.

Montell Elliott, from Roanoke, and Dorian Wilson, from Georgie, were taken to the Roanoke City Jail.

Both men are now facing charges for the robbery.
