Monday was supposed to be a make-up day in Roanoke County for an earlier snowstorm. Now school leaders are considering their options as another taste of winter weather cancelled classes.

The Roanoke County Public Schools have missed 9 days to snow this year.

So what to do now? There aren't any easy options.

We don't know what the school board will decide, but members could consider alternatives such as trimming spring break, going to school on a Saturday or adding time to the school day to make sure the school system meets the state's requirements.

Members of the Roanoke County School Board have a work session scheduled Tuesday evening.

They weren't planning to talk about snow days then,  but a school system spokesman says the issue will be discussed at the meeting.
