LYNCHBURG, Va. -

Liberty University students got more than just a religious message at their convocation service Friday.

Everyone in the audience walked away with a 20-dollar bill, courtesy of the guest speaker.

Bo Pilgrim is the former owner of Pilgrim's Pride, the largest chicken producer in the United States.

He gave away more than $200,000 of his own money to Liberty students Friday morning.

The money was tucked into a booklet called "Good News for Modern Man," which contains bible verses.

"It's got The Ten Commandments in it and everything you need, without having to carry a Bible under your arm," explained Pilgrim, who has been printing and handing out the leaflets for more than 30 years.

When asked why he gave away the money, Pilgrim said he has more than he needs and he knows every college student can use a little extra cash.
