ROANOKE, Va. -

Management at one flower shop is joking last week's storm is helping them "beautify the landfill."

Last week, we visited George's Flowers in Roanoke.

At that point, Valentine's Day deliveries were severely impacted thanks to nearly 2-feet of snow in the area.

That snow kept people from going to work and getting their flowers.

Monday, the store was still dealing with the fall out.

"We were fortunate we got a lot of deliveries out Saturday, we did quite a bit Saturday, but we still have 80-deliveries -starting out the morning with 80 deliveries for today," explains Design Manager Doug Lindamood.

That's compared to a 30 to 50-deliveries on an "usual" Monday.

George's estimates it lost at least 25-thousand dollars in sales from last week's storm.
