The Lyon sisters went missing from a suburban Washington, D.C., shopping mall in 1975. Lloyd Lee Welch was named a person of interest in their disappearance. Investigators confirmed Tuesday that the search in the Thaxton area of Bedford County is related to the Lyon sisters case.
