LYNCHBURG, Va. -

Hundreds of jobs are leaving Lynchburg, but they aren't moving far.

StarTek is relocating its call center.  The company, which employs 300 people in Lynchburg, has been leasing a space at The Plaza since 2004.

StarTek's current building is owned by Centra, which recently swapped property with the city of Lynchburg.  As part of the deal, the Lynchburg Health Department will move into the StarTek building, and Centra will move a doctor's office into the old health department.

StarTek is moving to Campbell County. A new call center is being built at Waterlick Plaza on Waterlick Road, in spaces that recently housed a Kroger grocery store and a furniture consignment shop.
