LYNCHBURG, Va. -

Residents of downtown Lynchburg are opening their homes to help the less fortunate receive medical treatment.

The Free Clinic of Central Virginia is hosting its tenth annual "loft tour."  10 apartments will be on display Saturday.

The event is designed to showcase the growing number of options for people who want to live downtown.

"They're going to be surprised at the number of lofts that are down here and how well decorated they are," said Robert Barlow, executive director of the free clinic.  "The lofts we have selected are ones that are decorated nicely."

The loft tour runs from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. Saturday.  Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the event.  They can be purchased at the free clinic (1016 Main Street), The Silver Thistle, The Lynchburg Visitors Center, The Muse Coffee Company, Westminster Canterbury, Lynch’s Landing and Shay’s Unique Gifts.

All proceeds will benefit the Free Clinic of Central Virginia.
