ROANOKE, Va. -

On Wednesday morning around 6:30 a.m., Roanoke-Blacksburg Regional Airport dealt with a man who was caught with several knives and a straight-edge razor inside his luggage.

Amanda DeHaven, a spokesperson for the airport, says that the man was scheduled to fly from Roanoke to Detroit.

His driver's license was expired by seven years and that's what prompted the bag check.

TSA officers found several knives, a straight-edge razor, and other prohibited items in his bag and that's when Roanoke City Police were called.

During questioning, the man became belligerent and it took four officers to bring the man down.
