Missing hikers found in Giles County after spending night in the wilderness
Two hikers are safe after spending the night and more than 12 hours lost in the wilderness.
A man, his wife, and his mother started their hike from the Mill Dam area in Giles County on Wednesday afternoon.
Around 4 p.m., their dogs took off running, and the man chased after the dogs.
Once he found the dogs, he couldn't find his wife and mom.
Search teams started looking for them, but they had to call off their search at dark.
At daylight, bloodhounds were going to join-in on the search, but then a phone call came-in.
It was those women who'd found a house in the no business area of Bland County.
They were tired, but were OK.
