A movie filmed 3 years ago at Virginia's Explore Park is finally making it to the big screen. Alone Yet Not Alone opened Friday in selected cities, but not here in the Roanoke Valley.

"Alone" is a Christian film that tells the story of two sisters who were captured by the Delaware Indians in 1755 during the French and Indian War.

The crew filmed in other locations, but the trailers include many scenes that were obviously completed at Explore. The film opened in 9 cities including Raleigh, Knoxville and Atlanta.

It goes national in February, and should reach the Roanoke Valley then.
