At about 6:15 on Saturday, May 10th, Roanoke County Fire and Rescue crews were dispatched to Vinyard Park in Roanoke County for a reported structure fire.
Crews from the Vinton and Mount Pleasant stations arrived to find a single-wide trailer fully engulfed in flames. The crews fought the fire from outside the structure.
It was difficult to even access the trailer as it was located on a narrow gravel road. Firefighters used brush trucks to reach the site of the fire.
The old trailer did not have electricity and was not lived in. It is now completely destroyed, with its value estimated at $5,000-$10,000.
The fire is under investigation and believed to be suspicious.
