A volunteer search group from North Carolina will be headed back to Nelson County to help search for Alexis Murphy.
The CUE Center for Missing Persons stopped in Lovingston less than a week ago to talk about Murphy's abduction case.
The group is headquartered in Wilmington, NC. They travel the country and try to locate missing people.
According to one of Murphy's aunts, both parties have signed off on paperwork to bring the CUE Center back to the area.
No date has been set yet as to when the group will start searching, but Murphy’s aunt tells WDBJ 7 it should happen in the next few weeks.
Murphy was last seen at a gas station in Lovingston.
Randy Taylor has been charged with kidnapping the teen. His trial will be set later this month.
