LYNCHBURG, Va. -

A Lynchburg woman hopes to drive the road to success with her new car.

Sandra Evans is getting a 2010 Chrysler Sebring from the Mabry Automotive Group.

Evans is buying the car with a low-interest loan, which she obtained through the "Ways to Work" program.

Ways to Work helps single parents, like Evans, with budgeting and financial counseling.

Evans said the new ride will be a tremendous help to her and her four-year-old son, Chase.

"No more struggles to get to work or get my son to daycare," Evans said.  "It's a wonderful opportunity to make a better future for ourselves."

Evans was chosen to receive the car by the local sponsor of Ways to Work: Lynchburg's Presbyterian Homes and Family Services and the Family Alliance.
