"Plan 9" makes scary debut in Roanoke
Zombies attacked Roanoke tonight, on the big screen that is.
The cast and crew of Plan 9 got to see the first showing ever at the Grandin Theater.
Filming for the zombie invasion film started about two years ago. Much of it was filmed in Roanoke and Bedford.
Director John Johnson says the next steps for the film are exciting.
"We've had 10 offers on the film as of now, and no one's seen it yet, they just want it because of the concept and some of the actors that we used in the film so we will be going to market following up on those deals and then progressing to sell the film."
After the fright on the big screen ticket holders were treated to an after party.
Plan 9 goes straight to video next year.
