LYNCHBURG, Va. -

Police are seeking information on the whereabouts of a suspect after a drug store in Lynchburg was robbed Thursday afternoon.

Lynchburg Police Department has a warrant for robbery for Daniel Richard Lee White as a result of investigation into the armed robbery of a Walgreens on Wards Road.

The robbery took place around 12:35 p.m.

According to a news release, a man entered the store, said that he was armed, and demanded prescription medication. He then jumped over the counter, tried to grab prescription drugs, and ran away.

Anyone with information on White's whereabouts should call 911.

The investigation is ongoing.
