ROANOKE, Va. -

There's now another spot for downtown living in Roanoke.

The Ponce De  Leon building had its grand opening on Wednesday.

Renovations at the building on the corner of Campbell Avenue and 2nd Street have been underway since October.

Work included restoring the first floor to make it look like it did in the 1930s when it was a hotel.

The building features eight floors of apartments.

All but 11 apartments have been rented.

Move-in day is Thursday.
