Even in their 90's and 80's men from a local chapter of Knights of Columbus made their way to RAM House to cook a meal. It's something they do once a month for those in need.
Three of them are in their 90's and the others in their 80's, but age doesn't stop them from giving back.
Their combined age? Over 500 years.
"It's just the way the good lord teaches us to be," Chris Hoeser, 86 years old, says, "Help our fellow man, especially those who are more needy. "
One of the volunteers, on the food line, he says it's all about giving back to people in his community.
The group of volunteers has been together for over 25 years, and donates time to the RAM house regularly. Every third Saturday of the month, they cook everything from hot dogs and baked beans, to coleslaw and other treats.
