ROANOKE, Va. -

If you're looking to indulge in some unhealthy habits, look no further because Roanoke will welcome its first ever Bacon Festival on Saturday.

Tomorrow is International Bacon Day and Roanoke is celebrating. Food vendors from the area will be displaying and offering some of their best bacon concoctions.

Fork in the Market will be there as well serving up some fried macaroni and cheese bacon balls and bacon wrapped hot dogs.

The party will be held at the Railside Plaza on Salem Avenue. It begins at 10 am.

The head chef at Fork in the Market said they are excited to be a part of the first festival.

"As soon as she came to us with the offer I immediately said yes,” said chef Dustin Gray. “It's going to be huge and there's going to be tons of people there."
