ROANOKE, Va. -

Roanoke is in the top ten when it comes to best cities for retired people.

That's according to livability-dot-com.

The website ranked Roanoke number six in the country because of the city's outdoor activities, weather, affordable homes, health care costs, and other things.

Here's a look at the top five best places to retire that just beat out Roanoke.

Cincinnati, Ohio came in at number one followed by Saint Louis, Missouri; Baton Rouge, Louisiana; Provo, Utah; and Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
