Senator Mark Warner was in Roanoke Saturday, August 2nd for the opening of his new campaign office on Franklin Road.

He met with local supporters, and addressed several issues, including his campaign flight expenses that got criticism from many people, including his opponent in the upcoming race, Ed Gillespie.

"The bottom line is over the last 5 years I've returned over 1.6 million dollars to the taxpayer from my office and travel budget," Warner said, "And so, I think it's terribly important that you get out and see Virginians all over the commonwealth."
