We're already seeing a number of passengers stuck with nowhere to go. Travelers are encouraged to check the website before leaving for the airport. Click here to see the full list of cancellations and delays at Roanoke-Blacksburg Regional Airport: http://www.roanokeairport.com/
You should also contact your airline for rebooking or the status of your flights Wednesday and Thursday.
A spokeswoman for the airport says Roanoke could see delays for days because of how much snow is predicted in and around our region. She said it could be the most delays since a snowstorm in 2009.
The airport has its own special equipment to clear the runways.
I'm told they have those trucks on standby.
Roanoke-Blacksburg Regional offers more than 50 scheduled flights on a daily basis and flies to nine major cities so when one airport is affected, they are all affected.
