Henry County Sheriff’s Office is seeking help finding a suspect after a bank in Martinsville was robbed Tuesday.

According to a news release, a man entered Carter Bank and Trust in Martinsville around 2:49 p.m. He approached a teller, presenting a note demanding money. He was armed with a black semi-automatic pistol.

After the robbery, the suspect took off on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.

The robbery took place at the Carter Bank and Trust, located at 6142 A.L. Philpott Highway.
