Dozens of people are about to lose their job when a plant closes down in Danville. Commodore Corporation makes modular homes.
The company's president announced the shutdown in a letter to the mayor of Danville.
He said all positions at Commodore Homes of Virginia are being cut by the end of April with some employees staying to finish orders.
The plant is consolidating with another factory in North Carolina the company president says is newer and can take on the Danville production.
Currently workers say there are around 100 employees at the plant. They were given notice on Friday.
