DANVILLE, Va. -

The Danville Police Department is investigating multiple reports of BB or pellet gun damage.

One person was hurt by a BB or pellet. Two people were shot.

Most of the reports were about damage to parked cars.

Police are looking for two or three young men who were riding in a white van at the time of the shootings.

The Danville Police Department is currently investigating multiple reports of incidents involving bb or pellet guns. These incidents have occurred within the past several days.

The reports generally describe damage to vehicles that are parked along the roadway. In addition, there have been two reports of citizens being struck by bb’s or pellets. Witnesses describe a white Dodge or Chrysler mini- van with writing on the side, occupied by 2 or 3 black males around 20 years of age as being involved in the incidents.

One victim received medical treatment by EMS for an injury sustained by being struck by a bb or pellet.
