ROANOKE, Va. -

5 shortbread cookies or graham crackers crumbs
1 lb fresh strawberries ( chop about 5 large ones)
2 tbsp powdered sugar (one for the strawberries and one for the cream cheese mixture)
2 pkgs cream cheese (softened)
1 tsp lemon zest
1 tsp lemon extract
3/4 cup white chocolate morsals or dipping chocolate melted

Line a small bowl with plastic wrap and put in the freezer.

Chop cookies or put in food processor.

Chop about 5 large strawberries and mix in 1 tbsp powdered sugar and set aside.

Mix softened cream cheese with melted chocolate and lemon zest and extract.

Remove bowl from freezer and pour strawberry mixture in the bowl, add cookie crumbs and the cream cheese mixture pressing to remove the bubbles. Return to the freezer for 10 minutes. Refrigerate, then before serving put it in the freezer for 10 minutes..

To serve, carefully invert bowl over a pretty glass plate (put plate on top of bowl then invert) Gently remove plastic wrap. Surround with strawberries and additional shortbread cookies.

This is a wonderful appetizer or dessert treat!
