ROANOKE, Va. -

The Honor Remembered Collection is a display of rare military collectibles.

It consists of military uniforms, both combat and dress from various conflicts dating from War World I to modern conflicts like Afghanistan.

Matthew McKeever allowed WDBJ7 Mornin' to bring in the cameras and view his very private collection on Wednesday, April 2nd.

McKeever's collection has memorabilia from Captain William Bruce "Bill" Overstreet, Jr. WWII P-51 Mustang Pilot, his father Sgt. Charles H. "Chuck" McKeever Korea '50-'53 USAF Named Collection. Chuck McKeever was also the second president at WDBJ7. The collection also has donations from McKeever's uncle, Lt. Col. Retired Martin "Marty" Richert USAF.

McKeever has brought this collection to schools, military organizations, and the national D-Day Memorial in the past.

Some may remember the collection when it was on display at Tanglewood Mall in the late 90's.
