UPDATE: Two arrested after warrant served in Christiansburg for possible meth lab
The warrant was served on the 400 block of Light Street
Two people have been arrested in Christiansburg after investigators executed a search warrant Wednesday for a possible methamphetamine lab.
When the search warrant was executed in the 400 block of Light Street around 11:15 a.m., a "live cook" was in progress, according to a news release.
Thomas Perdue, 28, and Tabitha Roberts, 26, were arrested in relation to the incident.
Perdue faces charges of conspiracy to manufacture methamphetamine, manufacturing methamphetamine over 228 grams, and possession of precursors for manufacture of methamphetamine.
Roberts faces charges of conspiracy to manufacture methamphetamine and possession of methamphetamine.
Both Perdue and Roberts are thought to live at the home on Light Street.
Officers from the Christiansburg Police Department, Blacksburg Police Department, and the Christiansburg Fire Department assisted with the search warrant and clean up.
Perdue and Roberts are currently being held without bond at the Montgomery County Jail.
