BLACKSBURG, Va. -

The state supreme court will hear arguments Thursday over a Virginia Tech shooting lawsuit.

The parents of two of the 32 victims sued the school in Montgomery County Circuit Court and won.

That court ruled Tech didn't do enough to warn students about a shooter on campus.

The lawyers for the parents are asking the Virginia Supreme Court to add retiring Virginia Tech President Charles Steger to their lawsuit.

Lawyers for the school will argue against that.

They'll also ask the high court to throw out the lower court's ruling in favor of the families.
