A Washington woman is accused of stabbing a housekeeper at a Montgomery County hotel Wednesday morning.

The incident happened around 11:45 a.m. at the Comfort Inn on Tyler Road.

30-year-old Brenda Hess of Tacoma, Washington, is charged with malicious wounding and abduction by force. Investigators say Hess locked herself in a hotel room when deputies arrived at the hotel. After a brief negotiation, Moss was taken into custody.

The victim was taken by ambulance to Carilion New River Valley Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.
