A lot of people are using the new year to start a whole new set of habits.
Since New Year's day, gyms like the Salem YMCA have been seeing people trying to incorporate some of those healthy habits into their lives.
While the Y says it's always there to get people motivated, this year they have a few new things to get the whole family involved.
The newest is called, "Y town."
It's a mini-city where kids can come in explore and use their imaginations..
"It's about building critical thinking skills, learning about problem solving and those skills really build a life time love of learning. So, it's really fun place for kids and parents alike," explains YMCA Communications Director Kim Bratic.
Y-town is for kids 2 to 10 years old.
