A Radford University assistant professor is out with a new e-book to help parents and teachers talk to kids about bullying.

Joseph Jones' e-book, "Bullying in Schools: A Professional Development for Educators" acts as a guide to get the discussion going.

Jones also had educators and community leaders from around the country contribute to the book.

He says it's crucial for parents to recognize signs that their child might be the victim of bullying. One sign is if he or she isn't as active on social media as usual, or doesn't answer text messages promptly.  Jones says that could mean cyber bullying is happening.

A portion of the proceeds from the sale of the e-book will go toward anti-bullying organizations.

 It's now available on Amazon.com.
