Gas prices are expected to continue to fall as 2012 draws to an end.

The national average price for a gallong of regular self-serve gasoline dropped 3 cents last week to $3.37. That's 9 cents less expensive than one month ago and 8 cents more expensive than one year ago.

Although 2012 will be the most expensive year on record for gas prices, AAA believe gas prices will continue to decline and motorists could actually pay the lowest gas pricesof the year by New Year's Eve.

As 84.4 million travelers take to the roads for the year-end holiday, AAA anticipates coming to the assistance of more than 1.2 million stranded motorists between December 19th and January 2nd nationwide.

Here are a few things to add to your list before heading out for your holiday drive: Antifreeze, Windshield wipers and washer fluid, tires, battery, and belts and hoses.
