A local family is safe after their house caught fire early Friday Morning.
The fire started around 3 a.m. at 2332 Lankford Mill Road in Bedford County
That's just northeast of the city of Bedford.
The family woke up to a fire in their attic.
They were able to get out safely and call for help.
Fire fighters had the fire under control in less than an hour.
