The group was supposed to leave Friday morning, but woke up to most of their vehicles tires slashed.
Tim Dayton is the Executive Director of Reach and he says many of the vehicles had to be towed because there were too many tires to change. "At least seven cars had thirteen tires that were flat. We did find some car tires that weren't flat yet, but looked like they had been slashed so some of the drivers are going ahead and getting all four new tires," explained Dayton.
Kids we spoke with say though this isn't good news, but they're smiling and staying positive.
Police are investigating.
