A seal in Seattle choose a rather unusual place to give birth -- and the whole delivery was caught on camera.

Brian Kaloper, the harbormaster at Elliott Bay Marina, told KOMO-TV in Seattle that he first noticed the seal Monday around 8:30 a.m.

When he went inside his office to look at security camera footage, he realized the seal was giving birth.

After the delivery was done, with it being captured on the marina's security camera in its entirety, Kaloper posted the video on YouTube.

He told KOMO-TV that the seal and it's new arrival seem to be doing just fine.

"One of our dock hands saw them this morning and the pup was riding around on mom's back and just having a great time," Kaloper told the station.
