Aten Place thrives thanks to your support
The 18th season of Aten Place concerts in the barn is over, but will certainly not be forgotten. The popularity of the series was witnessed by an increase in attendance, as well as an increase in new people attending.
Our love of sharing our venue as well as our love of live music has not diminished and we intend to carry that love into a 19th season. We thoroughly enjoy meeting, or reacquainting ourselves with hundreds of wonderful people who share and understand our mission, and our passion for live acoustic music.
The intimate opportunity that our venue provides audiences to have an informal evening with talented and interesting artists, in a warm, friendly, and relaxing atmosphere is uncommon in today's world. We are proud of that uniqueness, we embrace it, and we are pleased to find that there are so many others that also enjoy that aspect of the venue.
Now that another summer series is complete, we'd like to publicly take the opportunity to thank all the people who attended concerts, brought "goodies" to share at intermission, and helped us in numerous other ways throughout our short season. Their enthusiasm and generosity to support this concert series not only contributes to the experience for everyone, but also encourages us to continue this endeavor.
Aten Place is a nonprofit undertaking that operates without the advantage of an advertising budget. We are extremely appreciative of the Petoskey News-Review for their support. Their inclusion of articles that covered our concert information is incredibly generous and definitely contributed to making the residents and visitors to Northern Michigan aware of our shows. Thank you!
Anyone who would like to be included on our email list for next year's concert schedule can simply drop us a note at email@example.com and ask to be added to our list of patrons. If you think you have lost anything at the barn, or have suggestions/complaints, please contact us at (231) 549-2076 or email.
Thanks again, and hope to see everyone next summer!
