Man who shot neighbor's dogs in Franklin County acquitted of charges

We have new details about a Franklin County farmer who shot his neighbor’s dogs.

A judge acquitted John Lumsden on Friday.

Lumsden said he shot the dogs because they were harassing his three-month-old calf. 

He shot the dogs with a 12-gauge shot gun using some sort of bird shot.

Both dogs recovered.

Lumsden was facing two counts of animal cruelty and two counts of maiming a companion animal.
