FRANKLIN CO., Va.—
A Roanoke woman was killed in an accident Friday morning in Franklin County.
She has been identified by state police as 25-year-old Sarah Harrison.
The accident happened around 8:50 a.m. on Wirtz Road (Route 697), just east of Route 716.
State police say Harrison’s 2004 Ford Focus was headed east when she went off the road and hit several trees.
Harrison was wearing a seat belt.
She was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver was killed in the accident.
